Liong Sen is a Chinese & British trained experienced complementary practitioner. He has more than 20 year's clinical experience in complimentary medicine.
He qualified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui-na therapy, Chinese TCM dietary therapy, Shiatsu, Therapeutic and sports massage.
Liong Sen has additional post-graduate training in gynaecology and emotional disorders.
He also trained in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Chinese healthy cookery and European professional cookery.
Liong Sen is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the Yoga Alliance Professionals UK (YAP) and the World Yoga Alliance (WYA) . He teaches post-graduate courses in Acupuncture and
Tui-na in the UK and Europe. Liong Sen teaches regular Tai Chi, Qi gong, Yoga and Chinese TCM and vegan cookery classes. He also organises Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Meditation retreats in Europe, Turkey, Bali and China.
Over the past twenty years he has accumulated vast experience of working with different communities. He has worked and trained in one of the most prestigious TCM university hospitals in Beijing, China.
Liong Sen has practised in a south London GP's surgery for 19 years and volunteered at a London hospice for three and a half years treating people with immune-compromised conditions and cancer.
He practises in Orpington, Kent and London Harley Street where he has treated many clients from different backgrounds as well as famous clients and celebrities. Liong Sen also teaches post-graduate courses in Malaga, Spain.
Liong Sen was brought up in a Buddhist and Taoist family. He is a passionate Tai-Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga and Meditation practitioner. He loves nature, hiking, gardening, music, singing, cooking and he is a keen organic and eco-farming supporter.
His treatment principles draw from his Chinese cultural heritage and also the broad experience of his unique training and knowledge derived from a combination of the Eastern traditional Chinese philosophy of health and the concepts of Western medical science. This manifests itself as a true passion for Chinese medicine. As well as the treatment, Liong Sen may give advice on diet, exercise and lifestyle - encouraging self-understanding, improved self-confidence and greater independence in health matters. He is also a strong believer in “practising what he is preaching”.
